In the late 1980s, a family of seven women from different generations and with diverse ideologies struggles to save their home, which they are about to lose due to an outstanding debt. We see this story through the eyes of the youngest, eight-year-old Roberta, as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery that impacts the rest of the family.
