*Señoritas* tells the story of Lívia, a 70-year-old middle-class retired architect whose monotonous life is disrupted when her friend Luci returns to Brazil. Luci’s commanding personality awakens desires in Lívia that had been suppressed for years, challenging her routine of family devotion and responsibilities toward her granddaughter. A "coming-of-age" story for the elderly, it explores the rediscovery of desire—beyond family expectations—through friendship, dance, and sexual liberation.
