David leaves his community in search of the American dream, leaving behind his mother and pregnant wife, who watch him depart in search of a better life. However, the silence becomes an abyss: there is no news, no trace of his whereabouts. Amid the uncertainty, both women embark on a search from afar, relying on fragmented calls from other migrants, clinging to their faith and the rumors of the town as their only map.
