Figaro, a barber who heals, pulls teeth, and arranges marriages, assists Count Almaviva in his attempts to rescue his beloved. This revival of the production in which Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher debuted at the Met in 2006 closes this season of livestreams. The world's most popular comic opera is evoked from an abstract centerpiece of moving doors and burlesque-tinged costumes. The cast is led by acclaimed mezzo-soprano and rising star Aigul Akhmetshina as Rosina. Streaming with Spanish subtitles.
