Description
La Gusana Ciega is a Mexican rock/pop/alternative group formed by Daniel Gutiérrez, Jorge Vilchis, Germán Arroyo, and Luis Ernesto Martínez. Their origins date back to the 1990s, after playing in bars and clubs in Mexico City. They recorded their first album, "Merlina," in 1996, which garnered widespread acclaim.
They rose to prominence in 1998, opening for Oasis at their concerts in Mexico City.
They are currently celebrating 20 years of career with a tour commemorating their "Merlina" album.
