Documentary that addresses the sociopolitical conditions of post-revolutionary Mexico; Following the electoral campaign of Luis Echeverría, the film reconstructs the lost ideals of the revolution, exploring everything from the Zapatista movement to the massacre in the plaza of Tlatelolco. The political aims and clear socialist discourse of the film were kept hidden to achieve the approval of Echeverría himself; However, one day after its release in 1971, the film was banned for more than 30 years.
