A drama that confronts mental health and institutional neglect

With Diez. Absence of Fear, the audience will witness the journey of Elizabeth, a woman who voluntarily checks herself into the Blackwell Psychiatric Hospital with the intention of documenting abuse and neglect within the system. What begins as a journalistic investigation transforms into an intimate confrontation with her own past and the shadows that still haunt her. The play features performances by Andrea Rodríguez and Víctor Iturríos, under the direction of Alan Márquez Lobato, and the playwriting of the late Tijuana-born artist and activist Paco Mufote, known for his critical work and commitment to human rights.
