Synopsis:

In the middle of the 19th century, Lola lives in a world where death has become an ordinary topic; while Sylvie, a thousand years later, seems to have everything figured out in a perfectly controlled society. Both will live a danger that will force them to recognize their own life impulse; parallel stories that are intertwined over time with instinct, survival and fragility, to ask ourselves if we are really so different from other animals and, above all, what makes us human.
