The Woman of the Port tells the story of Perla, a teenager who works as a dancer in a cabaret and is also prostituted by her mother, Tomasa. When the girl meets Marro, a sick sailor who falls madly in love with her, Tomasa will try by all means to end the relationship, as she knows a secret that makes their union impossible.
