Raised in the Chiapas jungle and taught to live without rights, these women venture forth to forge a different path for future generations of Indigenous people. After losing the lives of their babies and family members to patriarchal violence, some of them die, but with the arrival of the Zapatistas, their dreams bloom again, and they defend what is most precious to them: their land and a life of independence and hope.
