29th Binational Folkloric Dance Gathering in Tijuana 2025

The Ticuán Dance Company presents its 29th Binational Folkloric Dance Gathering, called Tepeeg Notú, in Tijuana. The event will take place next Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st, at CECUT, Performance Hall, with two performances, at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Tepeeg Notú comes from the Pa Ipai language, a native people of Baja California, and means "One on High." This name represents the gathering's intention to present the best of the region's folkloric dance on a single stage. This annual event is organized by the Ticuán Dance Company in collaboration with the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT). It brings together various folkloric dance groups from Tijuana, Baja California, to showcase the cultural richness of Mexico through their dances, music, and costumes.
