Tijuana Book Fair 2025 Celebrates its 40th Edition at El Trompo. The 40th Tijuana Book Fair 2025 will take place from June 6 to 15 at the El Trompo Interactive Museum, marking a significant change by moving to the city's East Side for the first time. This cultural event, organized by the Union of Bookstores of Tijuana in collaboration with the City Council and the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, seeks to bring literature to a wider and more diverse audience.

A New Chapter in the History of the Tijuana Book Fair

After being held for more than a decade at the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT), the Tijuana Book Fair 2025 is moving to the El Trompo Interactive Museum. This decision responds to the goal of decentralizing cultural activities and promoting reading in different areas of the city. Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz emphasized the importance of this change, noting that "to achieve the full development of our youth, we need to guide them through a fundamental strategy that allows them to balance their emotions, and that also lies in reading."

Highlighted Activities and Participation of Renowned Authors

The Tijuana 2025 Book Fair will feature the participation of more than 100 local publishers and bookstores, as well as national and international authors. Confirmed writers include Juan Villoro, Natalia Toledo, Odín Dupeyron, and Gabriela Jauregui. The program will include book presentations, conferences, workshops, children's and youth activities, and a food area.
