Synopsis

*El mágico prodigioso* (The Wonder-Working Magician) by Pedro Calderón de la Barca is a philosophical and religious drama that premiered in the 17th century. The play tells the story of Cipriano, a young scholar seeking to attain knowledge and power through magic. His encounter with Justina, a Christian woman of deep faith, sparks a conflict within him between reason, desire, and spirituality.
