Description
Based out of Mexico City, Cruz Azul is a professional football club competing in Liga MX, Mexico's premier league. The club was founded in 1927 and hosts its home matches at Estadio Azul, where it is also known as La Máquina Celeste (The Sky Blue Machine). Cruz Azul has experienced strong levels of success in the premier league throughout the decades, winning its first domestic championship at the conclusion of the 1968-1968 season.
