SERGIO MAGAÑA THEATER, Mexico City
When man runs against his destiny, the gods help him fall. This play explores the legacy of Aeschylus, considered history's first playwright. 2,500 years ago, this Greek soldier discovered, in his war experiences and in the eyes of his enemy, the contradictions that define humanity, and with this, he laid the groundwork for the first steps of theater. Four of his most iconic tragedies are reinvented as farcical comedy. With limited resources, but a great deal of dedication, we celebrate the essential act and the wonder of gathering as a community to tell the stories of this noble profession.
