Synopsis:
570 years after Leonardo da Vinci's birth, those of us who inhabit this planet continue to marvel at the inventive and creative capacity he developed throughout his life. In 60 minutes, Rodrigo Murray takes us by the hand through Renaissance Italy and brings us back to the turbulent 21st century. Interacting with the monumental piece designed by Sebastián, christened Leonardo, this monologue transforms into a personal story where we identify with both the protagonist's private life and Leonardo's tireless spirit, in a theatrical game of transformations and unfoldings in time. For these reasons, and by humanizing the towering figure of Leonardo, this monologue brings us face to face with a man who smiled and cried like a child, who made mistakes like everyone else, and who loved like everyone else. Leonardo da Vinci continues to dream today, just as he did in 1500; that's how he taught us to dream. May this work be of use to all those who continue to dream.
