Cioma Schönhaus is a 21-year-old Jewish man who has made up his mind that no one, not even the Nazi regime, take away his enthusiasm for life. To escape deportation, Cioma uses the identity of a naval officer, thus discovering that he has a hidden talent for forging not only passports and documents, but also his very existence. Based on a true story, the fourth feature film by director Maggie Peren portrays the spirit and energy of a young man who seeks to bear the weight of his oppressive reality, through a game in which the issue of identity is discussed.
