Synopsis:

At the annual festival of a town in the Oaxacan Mixteca, three stories intersect: María returns to bury her mother, but when her father kicks her out, he decides to propose to Piedad, her childhood sweetheart, go with her Esteban returns from the United States and finds that her wife Chabela has gotten together with another man, so he calls a community assembly to prosecute her. On her part, Toña relives the pain from the abuse she suffered in the past, because now it is her daughter who is experiencing it. The debut feature by actress and director Ángeles Cruz is an honest reflection on the resistance of a group of women who confront their lives, bodies and desires with the patriarchal community in which they grew up.
