Ukrainian Film Series presents: "Inner Wars" with free admission Since the 2014 pro-Russian uprising in the Donbas region, hundreds of women have been involved in the conflict against the separatists. Only a small part managed to go to the combat front. The director, Masha Kondakova, follows the trajectories of three women at the heart of the conflict, their daily lives, their struggles. Because they not only fight against the enemy, but also against the patriarchy. The film talks about the war, but it focuses on the internal wars of the protagonists, plunged into a patriarchal and macho state that imprisons them and questions their role within the conflict and even within society itself.
