THE RETURN TRIP

From the first conversations I had with Pablo Cebrián for the preparation of the production of the album El Viaje, the idea of returning to my first albums was always present: Golosinas, Tan Cerca de Mí, Raíz and Ofrenda. These records defined what would be the essence of my songs: rhythmic and sound diversity; the constant flow between America, Africa and Europe; and the Canary Islands as a backdrop, with the horizon and the noise of the sea as it drags itself along the beach with a faithful presence.

So, once El Viaje is over, all I have to do is go back from here and go through all my records until I get back to Golosinas. And what better than to do it accompanied by Luís Fernández, musician and friend, who in one way or another has been present in practically all my projects and my trips.
