Description

Malena Zavala is an artist and producer based between London and Mexico City. A self-taught musician, she wrote, recorded, and produced her debut album, Aliso (2018), in her parents' garage, fusing dreamlike and hypnotic sounds inspired by her Anglo-Latin heritage. Her music, influenced by artists such as Beach House, Feist, and Silvio Rodríguez, intertwines ethereal textures with poetic lyrics, creating a captivating sonic experience. With her albums Aliso (2018) and La Yarará (2020), she toured extensively throughout Europe and the UK, captivating audiences with her immersive voice and magnetic performances. Her latest EP, Pasos de la Luna, has brought her closer to Latin America, deepening her connection with her cultural roots.

Malena's music has also given her the opportunity to support acclaimed artists such as Lord Huron, Men I Trust, and Blanco White on their tours in the UK and Europe. She recently opened two sold-out shows for Puma Blue at the renowned Foro Indie Rocks! in Mexico City.

This will be Malena's first headline show in Mexico City, where she will feature a band specially selected for the occasion at the Foro Tejedor. She will perform songs from her extensive catalog and give a preview of her new EP, which will be released in June 2025.
