In “The Trial of a Fox,” Miguel del Arco offers us a version of the myth of Zeus's only daughter by a mortal, from a different perspective and reminiscent of Homer and Offenbach. It is she who speaks to us, who tells us about her life journey, who allows us to see another side of the story: a passionate and grieving woman who proclaims her innocence and defends her dignity. The monologue proposes the redemption of Helen from the grip of historical and hegemonically masculine narrative.
