Description
Threads is a one-woman show starring Alejandra Ambrosi, who plays Ema, a woman who has lost her friends, her family, her career, and her dignity. After reliving events from her past to understand how she got to where she is today, Ema must reweave her life amidst a patriarchal society that singles her out.
In Threads, Abi Zakarian weaves a powerful and evocative story about the deep wounds left by gender-based violence, revealing Ema's internal struggles as she navigates her past and present. Through an intimate and moving narrative, the play invites us to reflect on the threads that make up our lives and to question the knots that, invisible to many, prevent us from moving forward. Threads is a firm call to introspection and empathy, humanizing the emotional fabric of those who dare to delve into its plot.
