Description

Le Cinéma IFAL once again opens its doors to all moviegoers, and it does so with an unmissable film series. It is PIONERAS DEL CINE, a cycle that shows the work of the women who built the cinematographic language that we know today. The tour will take us from the first time Alice Guy-Blaché, to the iconic Agnès Varda. PIONERAS DEL CINE is available at Le Cinéma IFAL until April 16. For more information see the billboard HERE.

With regard to this cycle, and taking advantage of the fact that the presentation of short films by Alice Guy-Blaché has already taken place, we invited the film critic Gina Szclar for this episode. Gina is part of Cinema Tempo Historia, as well as a teacher at Cineteca Nacional, the Mexican Association of Independent Filmmakers (AMCI) and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, so she is immediately an authorized voice to talk about one of the most relevant.
