This chameleonic musician undoubtedly has his most solid roots in the period when he led Los de Abajo as a composer and singer during the best stage in which the band toured the world, under the labels of David Byrne and Peter Gabriel.

In mid-2007 he began his solo career in which he explored new musical terrain ranging from classic rock and roll as well as a sound inspired by North American folk artists, mixed with baladesque touches and sonorities inherited from norteño music typical of the ranchera tradition. , and a certain Balkan air typical of gypsy music. In April 2022, Líber Terán will release a new album entitled "Punto de parte".

In total, the release will be composed of 12 songs that range from alternative folk with influences from ballads, gypsi, country, norteño, danzón, dance and punk music, which are included in what is known today as "Global Pop", Terán will celebrate this release accompanied by a band of wandering musicians who have accompanied him for the last 10 years.
