About the Event
Cecilio Perera, originally from Mérida, Yucatán (Mexico), is a distinguished and internationally acclaimed guitarist, recognized for his musicality, virtuosity, and a broad and versatile repertoire that encompasses medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and contemporary music, as well as Latin American folk music and other genres. His artistry has led him to perform as a soloist in iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Nezahualcóyotl Hall and the Ponce Hall at the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, the Amadeo Roldán Theater in Havana, the National Theater of Costa Rica, the Juárez Theater in Guanajuato, and the Peón Contreras Theater in Mérida, among many others.
Marina Razumovskaja is a composer, castanet player, pianist, and dancer with an international career. Her artistic work unites rhythm, movement, and sound in a unique stage language, in which castanets occupy a central place as a concert instrument. She has performed on numerous prestigious stages and at festivals in Europe and the Americas.
