Thanks to his creativity and mix of sounds in each of his songs, the musician, producer, writer and multi-instrumentalist Javier Cardellino has positioned himself as one of the most recognized Uruguayan artists in all of Latin America. Throughout his career, he has worked with artists of international stature, such as Jorge Drexler, Marama y Rombai, Shawn Mendez, Lionel Richie and Julieta Venegas. However, the album “Siento por Ciento” with collaborations with musicians Sebastián Jantos and Jorge Drexler, as well as Cardellino's first studio album, have set a tone in his career as a soloist. Cardellino is one of the freshest songwriters and producers on the new litter of Urban Latin music. After several years in New York working for artists such as Shawn Mendez, Post Malone and Lionel Riche, he returned to his native Uruguay to start his solo project.
He owns 4 studio albums alongside PJ Sin Suela, Jorge Drexler, Emanero, Joss Bones, and Kodigo amongst others. He also collaborated on projects by colleagues such as Rombai, Nathy Peluso and Emilia Mernes among others.
In 2021 he performed his first world tour, with all sold out and an iconic closing at the Gran Rex Theater with completely sold out tickets.
2022 finds him with sold-out performances among the more than 30 shows he performed for Latin America, Spain and France.
He recently premiered his latest album "Love Dealer", an album of 23 tracks and 10 international feats, ranging from a baga-nova to a reggaetón, moving from afro beat to rap without losing the pop song format.
