RAPPELLING AT 35 METERS / PENTATHLON AND RAPTORS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Adventurers, Runners, Athletes, and Nature Lovers in General, for our upcoming Raptor Adventure, a 35M RAPPELLING, please consider the following:

This RAPPELLING will take place at the iconic Piedra Grande (Big Rock), which offers a spectacular view and is located before reaching the town of La Providencia.

ONLY THOSE WHO PASSED THE FIRST SELECTION LAST SUNDAY WILL BE ACCEPTED.

LOGISTICS AND ITINERARY:
SUNDAY:
- 6:20 am At the taxi stand of CBtis #116 at the First Bridge of Las Cruces.

- 7:00 am at Km 42 (junction for the town of La Providencia) on the Acapulco-Chilpancingo National Highway.
The ascent to the town of La Providencia will begin.

Approximate arrival at the activity area is 7:30 am.

Upon arrival in La Providencia, we will be greeted with a light breakfast provided by the town authorities. After the rappelling activity, we will be offered a typical local meal.

COST 1 INCLUDES: $360 pesos per person

- PRE-DESCENSE GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT
- TWO FREE DESCENTS AT 35 M
- HELMET AND HARNESS
- SAFETY AND FIRST AID
- DAYTIME HIKING
- FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT INCLUDED
- PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO OF THE SPECTACULAR VIEW AND DURING THE DESCENT

IMPORTANT: PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING:
- A raincoat (due to weather conditions).

- Water or your choice of beverages.
- A small umbrella or sunshade (for the sunny area while waiting).
- Non-disposable utensils: plate, cup, and cutlery.

- Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring extra clothes for a dip in the river.
- Hat or cap
- Backpack
- Cell phone charged to at least 90% (tell someone you trust where we are)
- Mosquito repellent
- Bring any medications you use or need
- Energy bars and/or light snacks
- Whistle (ESSENTIAL)
- A towel or cloth to cover yourself and/or dry off
- Bring a bag (preferably cloth) to collect and carry away any trash generated along the route.

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED:
- Armed individuals
- Pregnant women over 3 months
- Children under 12 years of age are not permitted
- Littering is prohibited along the route
- Alcoholic beverages may be consumed in moderation.

Remember that Raptors Adventure Hiking is for enjoying and admiring nature. Let's not destroy or pollute what little we have left to enjoy.
